Over the past 7 years and five trips to Falmouth - I've been to Kidd's 5 times. If you own a small car, so much the better. One suggestion-getting here early will also help with parking in this tiny corner of Cape Cod. My husband, who is picky about his key lime pie, said this was definitely above average, high praise for him. The waitress cheerfully brought a box to take the extra home.

Layers of chocolate mousse so rich it was served with a spoon. I ordered a triple chocolate cake for dessert-had to try it and was not disappointed. Almost enough to fill you up by themselves. My coconut scallops were terrific: about eight large scallops with a crisp coconut coating, laid on a bed of mango and coconut salsa. My husband had a large piece of halibut that he said was very good. The service is not fast, but with such a great view, we were not in a hurry. We had been there with friends a couple of weeks ago and were so impressed that we decided to go back to celebrate our anniversary. Gorgeous sailboats, cheerful squadrons of ducks, and the occasional kayak give you lots to look at as you wait for your meal. For the summer, come early enough to get table on the deck overlooking the marina or or the pier that extends out into it. The inside of the restaurant is warm, wood-paneled, and great in the winter. It doesn't get much better than a wonderful meal eaten on the little pier outside this Woods Hole restaurant.
